Can I take my scooter on a cruise? 

Many cruise companies recently updated their mobility scooter policy. Their new requirements state that, scooters may not be left in hallways, they must fit through the stateroom door (22') and should be able to be folded or dissembled once in the room so they can be stored under the bed or in the closet. * Each cruise line has different mobility regulations. It is always best to check their corporate website for the most current requirements. 

Can I take my scooter on the Airplane?

Medical scooters do qualify to fly on all major airlines. However, the Airlines do have requirements regarding the units batteries. If your scooter as a lithium battery your scooter can be gate checked and go under the plane but the  battery should be removed and carried on the plane with you. The battery should be no larger than 300 AH. For other standard batteries they should be "maintenance free" and are allowed on airlines. All Batteries we sell are maintenance free. SpinLife advises that regardless of your maintenance free battery type ("gel cell" or "sealed lead acid") that you check with the airline directly to get their approval just to be 100% positive.
