The Protekt O2 Cushion by Proactive Medical is a lightweight air cushion designed to prevent and treat pressure sores. The Protekt O2 is available in two thicknesses, 2" and 4", and can be easily inflated or deflated to provide optimal immersion into the cushion. The O2 is a dual valve cushion, so each side can be adjusted individually, which accommodates users with pelvic obliquities and sacral seating while improving control over posture. The cushion is made of a latex free, flame-resistant neoprene a while the cover is made of a breathable nylon. The cover also features a non-skid bottom as well as safety straps to keep the cushion secure. The Protekt O2 comes with an easy to use inflation pump as well as a patch kit. For an added layer of comfort you can add a 1/2" or 1" Visco gel insert to the top of your O2 cushion.
