Overview

The Living Spinal FreeWheel Wheelchair Attachment is a game-changer for manual wheelchair users looking to navigate rough terrain with ease. Designed to attach effortlessly to the front of most rigid-frame wheelchairs, this innovative accessory lifts your wheelchair’s small front casters off the ground, replacing them with a large, all-terrain wheel that glides over obstacles like grass, gravel, sand, and uneven pavement.

What sets the FreeWheel apart from other wheelchair attachments is its lightweight yet durable design, easy installation, and seamless compatibility with a wide range of rigid-frame wheelchairs. Unlike other front-wheel extenders, the FreeWheel doesn't just improve traction—it significantly reduces strain on your arms and shoulders by eliminating the constant stopping and starting caused by small front casters catching on debris or uneven surfaces. It is crafted from high-quality aluminum, ensuring strength without adding unnecessary weight. Plus, its quick-release mechanism makes it easy to attach and remove, offering convenience without compromising on performance.

Folding Wheelchairs Compatibility

*NOTES*

**Motion Composites wheelchairs, namely the Helio C2 and A7, have a wider diameter bar and will need a Motion Composites Folding Wheelchair adaptor

**For a child, pick the footplate distance that allows some room for growth

**If your chair has a flip-up foot plate , you will need to convert the footplate to an angle-adjustable footplate by purchasing Flip-Up to Angle-Adjustable Conversion Kit

**Do you have a Tilite Rigid chair? Does it have an angle-adjustable footplate? You'll need a special part called the P102 clamp kit . Use Reference Chart ( shown in the images ) for setting up your new P102 clamp
