The AL580-HDX by Harmar is designed to lift and transport heavier mid-wheel power wheelchairs. Also equipped on the AL580-HDX is the Stars-N-Stripes platform designed to shield you chair from road debris. The Swing Away arm option allows you to easily access your trunk space without having to remove the lift. The adjustable wheels ensure full securement during transport while also preventing damage to your chair. The AL580-HDX comes with a 450lbs weight capacity providing a wide range of chairs that can be carried with this lift. What You Need To Know When Ordering
If choosing professional installation you must choose the battery pack option. Even if you do not choose the professional installation, we still recommend selecting the battery pack option. The hardwire kit allows you to wire the power source from the car's battery to the lift, but it can be difficult to install if you are not mechanically inclined. The battery pack allows you to install the lift with an external battery system which requires frequent recharging.

Please be aware many states require you to display your license plate on the outside of your lift. It may be required in the following states: NE, KS, PA, VA, CA, AZ, NV, CO, UT, ND, SD, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, HI, AK, FL, TX, & AL. It might be required in other states as well and it’s your responsibility to understand your state’s regulations.
